Project #03

Power supply to public facilities

Since January 2026, electricity generated at the Biman Biogas Plant in Shimizu Town, which we operate and manage, has been supplied to public facilities in the town.
In partnership with TodockPower Co., Ltd. and Oji–Itochu EnexPower Retailing Co., Ltd., electricity used by 87 public facilities has been switched to FIT-certified renewable power generated by the biogas plant.

Project Overview

Project Overview

This project allows the biogas plant to continue securing electricity sales revenue under the FIT/FIP system, while significantly advancing the decarbonization of public facilities without additional financial burden.
In Shimizu Town, the amount of electricity used by public facilities is nearly equivalent to the power generated by the Biman Biogas Plant, making a substantial contribution toward achieving the town’s 2030 decarbonization target.
In addition, dairy farmers responsible for manure management are positioned as key contributors to local energy supply, helping to increase public understanding of the biogas plant and promote a regional circular economy.
